So I picked one up today. Will set it up tomorrow to replace the MWEB FON POS. Both USB ports seem to be USB 3.0 though - blue ports, although not definitive indication.
Still marked as R2299.90, so R599 is a decent price. Two independent Wifi radios with each having up to 2 guest zones.
Saw some shop-soiled ones on the bargain table marked to R1500.

Ports are indeed blue but trendnet states usb 2 while newegg stages usb 3.

Yup bought one from him when they were R3500 and that was a bargain back then. Just remember it doesn't include a cooling fan so you will need to buy one separately.

Does anyone know if Sinotec have an App Store/ way to get new app like Netflix, Showmax, etc now?
A neighbour had a Sinotec 'Smart' TV a few months ago, and there was no way to install anything on it. Not very smart imo. Picture quality was decent though. He ended up selling it cheap and getting a Samsung.

Yeah it's a great phone.
Same snapdragon 820 that's in most of last years flagship devices like the samsung S7, LG G5 and the oneplus 3.
Lot of roms and customisation available with the xiaomi.
