I'm saying that there was a difference of opinion between Samsung and LG based on UHD, not the HDR stuff.

Does the software matter even if I don't use the smart tv features?

My budget is R20k so looking for the best I can get for that. The LG seems a winner unless there is something better out there that fits the budget?

Actually the SMART TV features work as smooth as a modern day mobile phone. I was surprised by how fast the browser works and the fluidity of the Air Mouse from the remote. Showmax and Nteflix apps work great.
 
A gent from JHB phoned me and said they have four in stock in the whole of SA (~10 min ago)

I asked online support to change my order to have them ship me one, that is if they respond in time and I get one :D
 
I called them this morning on the mice - they said they'll let me know when I can pick up, so orders are being honored.

No stock in PE and the store refuses to source stock despite my order going through online.

Online store blames local branch, local branch blames online store :mad:

Got the same, but for one of the orders only. I'll be bummed if it's canceled, and I will complain, but eh, I opted to collect and pay in store, so it didn't cost me a cent so far.

Must say, I'm quite impressed with this mouse.

The packaging is about on par with the likes higher end Logitech gear and funny enough, the one mouse has a price tag of R1000 and the other one R1499.

Amazon sells them for $80, without shipping... so R1200 seems quite reasonable all considered. Reviews reckon the main downside of the mouse is price and "it doesn't look all that unique/interesting" - neither a problem..
Pretty sweet deal :D

It's a Steelseries Rival with another badge. Excellent mouse .
 
About tablet..take a look at Xiaomi mi pad 3, nice budget solution, clearly fast and MIUI is pretty interesting rom.
