The UE Boom 2 is at a good price on takealot. Same as the amazon price.

Lol @ the Marantz special again.

I wonder if Takealot accidentally ordered like 10000 of them and are trying to get rid of their stock :D

Great price on these:

Tritton Kunai Stereo Headset @ R150

/bought the wii version @ R200 on special from kalahari a couple of years ago. still using them.

Could you use these on a PC or would there be some sort of limitation because of the 3.5mm jack containing the mic and speaker connection?

I also have the WiiU version. Mic cannot be used as I think the WiiU had a proprietary connector. Tried it in my phone and with a splitter and couldn't get the mic to work.

The PS4 is generic so the splitter should work.

Still decent headphones for the price. The ear cups are a bit small so I find them uncomfortable after +-3 hours of use and need to take a break from them.

I didn't even know that the mic doesn't work on pc with the wii u version (never tried it). I have the same complaint on mine.

Found my old post: https://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showth...daily-deal?p=14325080&viewfull=1#post14325080

Still a good quality headset especially at R150 bucks. Paid R200 for mine in 2014.

The thought have occurred to me CB, because at the time, every review said that they were very comfortable. :P
Can the mic be removed when you not playing online? That's serious bang for buck for 40mm drivers.

I'm pretty sure it is removable on this version. Check some reviews on YouTube. The wii u version is removable.

Just want to report on the laptop I ordered from Amazon the other day.

This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K1IO3QW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, got mine for $315 though on Cyber Monday.

The regular price of $350 is still good though and you cannot get a similar spec laptop for this price at local retail outlets. Works out to R6k with regular shipping - that's for a laptop with a 7th gen Core i3, 1080p display and very easy upgradability of memory (2 slots, 1 free) and storage (has a M.2 and sata bay). I upgraded this one with more memory and put a M.2 drive in as the boot drive. It's now insanely fast compared to running it off the shipped 5400rpm hard drive (they should make it illegal to sell computers with these :D).

Is it just me or is Windows 10 ridiculously slow on a mechanical drive? At time unusable on one machine I have.
