Toner is like R350 and it holds a while. Not the cheapest, but the most no-nonsense printer I've had to date.

If you want cheap ink, look at the Epson ink tank range. Printer is a bit expensive but ink bottles are less than 150 each and last almost 2 years.

We have one in the office and at home. Office replaced ink after 18 months. Home still on original ink after. Going on almost 2 years now.

My dad bought one and is constantly struggling to get it to print properly. Lines from the one cartridge constantly - he tried cleaning it multiple times then finally got it to work fine. A week later, lines again. Dunno what's up with that!

I like the speed of laser.

Bought that colour laser printer for now, but will buy another printer once it runs out of toner lol

I got a samsung laser printer. I just refill the toner at home. There is a guy on bidorbuy that sells the toner chips and powder for like 150 bucks.

I got the multifunction one a while back, also from loot. Was 999, Fantastic printer for the price. But there are no generic cartridges (that I could find) and you cant refill them. Lexmark cartridges as expensive AF.

Epson ink tank is a piece of junk. Won't last long enough to even need a refill. Switched back to hp now. Cartridge prices are decent and the printer seems rock solid so far.

That's the thing, I've heard the included ink cartridges are often just 25% full.

I saved up and got the canon version of the ink tank version.... I will never go back.The ink is bloody cheap. I still have refill it.

O btw the toner guys refilling their toners. I did the same with laser printer but at some point you need to replace it. As the drum does get marks on it.
