Harmony Remotes - Where to buy

As far as I am aware i believe i read an article saying logitech stopped producing these.

They are quite expensive.
At least R1000 for a second hand one.

I recently found out Sony also has universal remotes. Perhaps they are an option as well.
I have searched but could not find a Harmony for a decent price.

Thanks for the feedback, the one listed in my post will cost about R600 to get it here. Not so bad.
 
You can get the Harmony 300i from Incredible Connection Vodaworld for R249.
The 300 goes for R129 at IC, but you'll have to phone around for stock.
 
I just ordered one online now as I was in the store on the weekend and they didn't have any (Bayside store). Let's see what happens!

I haven't worked with Harmony remotes yet, but as soon as I have mine then I will be able to comment. Does that Kworld card have a IR receiver?
 
Yip, I do think so.

It has a remote and a little "eye" that plugs in the back of the card. The remote works with Windows Media Centre and HyperMedia Player (from KWorld) but does not work with XBMC. There is a remote program that you need to start for the remote to work, though.

Should work no problem with the Harmony.
