Has cadbury's quality dropped?

Check the labels, these days they dont even call it chocolate but rather confectionery... makes you think, are you still buying what you thought you were?

Beacon improved quite a bit, as far as candy goes.
Cadbury doesn't even taste like chocolate anymore :(
My theory is that Beacon hasn't improved at all just that Cadbury's quality has gone down. The same thing for those generic biscuits the name escapes me but at one stage I found them inedible but now that bakers quality dropped I find them more palatable .

No, Beacon definitely improved. Though one still can't call what they produce chocolate....

Tea Lovers?

I always loved Top Deck until recently where almost every other slab tastes like it's been burnt ever so slightly.

Also there was nothing wrong with the packaging before, now they have that stupid easy open/close **** that isn't easy at all.

You kidding? I must try them out then. SO always accuses me of being a brand queen when it comes to groceries :o

You have to be a brand queen with certain things like pasta and baked beans and marie biscuits but those coconut tea biscuits all taste the same....

I heard on the radio there will be world wide shortages buy 2016 or 2020. Dark days are coming...... It probably starts with the luxury's.

As long as the internet still works it's fine - we can always look at pictures of the luxuries and reminisce.

Every now and then I make the mistake of buying something that I loved as a kid.

All gone seriously down the toilet.
