Has Digichilli Launched?

*registered with them last week.
*wanted to sign into site after they went "live" on sat,could only login after resetting my password.
*paid via eft for service.and sent proof to them(twice)
*yesterday site up and down
*emailed support re username and password for dsl,no response
*phoned support centre now,wanted to take my email so the support team can respond,i refused,seeing they did not respond to previous msgs.also,they had none of my details,which i entered when regged as customer...like my email and ph number?
*someone going to ph me back now.....

must say,not cool.i would love to use these guys,but i wonder if cheaper rates.worth all this hassle?

It's always your call - don't take my word for it but I am loving uncapped.
 
This really is frustrating. I'm fast loosing all patience with this.
 
CambodiaDave : I understand that you have a manual process with the EFT people, but what is the delay for those of us that payed by credit card?
 
i skipped all 12 pages. whats the speed on that R300 unlimited cap?

I am not on a contract so I guess I can just call up telkom to cancel the monthly cap and just pay them the rental for the ADSL. right?

I don't see credit card payments as any different, I could be wrong. Unless the credit card payment back-end has an interface to create the DSL accounts, I see it as manual :confused:

I don't know how the ADSL account backend works. It could be a Telkom system that they don't have access to. But if it is their own system, there is no reason why it shouldn't or hasn't been integrated.
But even with a manual system, more than 24 hours is a very painful wait
 
I lost patience a long time ago - if only we received honest responses, instead of "it will be ready in 1 hour"
 
Is anyone else having a Certificate Error problem when attempting to submit payment details?
 
Still awaiting any details from them,anyway anyone on digi,and can tell me which dns servers they use?want to update all my equipment,or hmmm,maybe uses google's one?
 
Lol, its quite amusing to see all the desperation. When i lost my uncapped it took about 1 hour for the seconds to start ticking progressively louder.

tick....tick......tick......where is my uncapped?....tick.....tick.....tick...are we there yet?....tick ......tick.....pulls hair out...

We humans are an interesting lot. :) (no sarcasm intended)

speeds obtainable

Hi everyone...

Can anyone tell me the max download speed that you will be able to get on the various packages on DigiChilli?

Nowhere it mentions the speeds. Only chilli strength...:)

Lets for example take Telkoms 4mbps line...

What is the max download speed on...
