Has Digichilli Launched?

Finaly got hold of someone,which was willing to give me the direct cell number.
told me its because i did not complete the form in the website...thats why my details have not been generated......i have completed the form 3 times.....
told me if i dont get my details in hour...i can ph back on the cell number provided....
 
Haha - you not going to be happy when your details arrive... Browsing is painful, that is if the page ever does load without having to refresh 5 times.
 
can anyone pls tell me which range ip addresses are beign assigned on these accounts?also what the dns server is to be used?for these guys?
 
paid via eft last friday.but i must say it very slow at moment.cant even get in via rdp to my house.
 
Hmmmm have sent emails, have phoned, was promised a free December account by their joomla site, was told telephonically I would get username in the hour, zip nada, niet!
Eish I feel a dejavu coming on...
 
Anyone confirm the bursting speeds on the digichilli accounts. Does the 256kb just burst up to 384kb or to line speed. ie. A 4mb line will pull line speed on the 256kb if its not busy?
 
My understanding is it should only burst to double min speed but i am not sure if they implement that like that
 
Thats more like ISDN speed :( Hope they sort out the speed issues soon.

i see they using googles public dns servers.as default assigned.
 
Seacom and Neotel and DigiChilli

Hi Guys,

Problems

1) Signups
We have addressed issues relating to payment and signup and these should now be resolved for ALL people. If not please call the call centre, with username, method of payment, date of payment. They will have a list
of all clients on the system and should be able to resolve any userid and password issues.

2) Seacom and Neotel
There was an outage on Seacom yesterday caused by 'faulty fibre connections' not due to us or our equipment. This caused huge issues yesterday.

There is schedule maintenance, as listed below, tonight at 10:00 pm to address this issue.

Furthermore the lnk between out NOC and Seacom is dropping packets significantly.

We apologise for the inconvenience that all clients have experienced due to these problems that are not under our control.

This is non service affecting activity but service threatening only.
