Has Digichilli Launched?

Come on now, I am going to start dishing out some cheese to go with all this wine. :D

Digichilli has been taking registrations for almost 2 months now. They must have hundreds of applications to sort out and load, so relax. You can’t compare their service to an existing ISP who only need to process a handful of new applications a day (if that).

I am sure all of you still have your existing ISP, so use it until you get your Digichilli accounts!

I'm sure not all of us have existing ISP's. Maybe some of us, such as myself, have only recently got back into the country after after being away for many years, and are trying to get ADSL set up. Only to be met with this "service".
On the plus side, I managed to get an ADSL line from Telkom in less than 2 days. So it looks like Telkom have improved hugely since I left SA.

Say what you like, but until things on their network settles down, the early-adopters are basically going to be paying R300 a month to be a tester. They're even blaming things on a possible DoS attack in the main thread

I do have other ISP accounts, but that is not the point. The point is DigiChilli have already taken my money but now they are not delivering, which is fraud in my book!

I'm guessing you have your details...

With regards to the people that don't have there details, DigiChilli should not have sent out an email which states that it will take no longer than 24 hours.

Who cares if some people have other ISP's, when you pay for a service, you expect to get that service.

Perhaps you know otherwise supernothing? As for paying to test, that's Screamers department.

Hmm.... well do something about it if you feel that strongly and stop whinging.

i seriously think you guys need to chill and let these guys sort their ***** out over the next few days. if you are running a business you really should not make a sudden move to a new service provider just cos the price sounds right.

i would rather stay with my current ISP until they sort out their issues and then move over in a few weeks.

Ditto that people who have paid them and received nothing for that payment are allowed to voice their concerns about it here ...... people telling them to chill and stop whingeing helps nothing apart from being inflammatory ;)

@digichilli this is bull****t i am fed up with waiting for digichilli and just getting ignored the entire time this is make or break and its looking more and more like a break to me :(

Have you PM'd Dave on MyBB, have you e-mailed Dave, have you posted on the DC Forum, have you bought me a Magnum White Almond?

Dave seems 2 b a tad MIA at the moment. I'm also waiting for a reply on my mail re my account not authenticating. It might just b that they running around trying 2 figure out what has crashed their network (not me at least this time, I hope :s )

Seacom is obviously the issue - my Afrihost account is doing the same thing.

From what i have heard, Digichilli is just as useless as Screamer.
Since people started paying for their account speeds dropped, sometimes people can't connect to the internet.

2 concurrent connections and only the one runs, it seems like the other connection gets throttled.

I see alot of people who left screamer for digichilli, leaving them aswell
