Hi, has anyone also noticed shows disappearing from Netflix all of a sudden? I've been watching M*A*S*H which for it's age is still a solid show but it's gone and so is "Cat in the Hat" (umm that's one my daughter likes) :-P

I'm wondering if somehow they've managed to circumvent Unotelly and simply assign South Africa to my account ..

:wtf:

Ummmmm no not actually kidding I leave that to Trevor Noah I'm certainly not oblivious since I was one of the first to post about the blocking error a few days ago... It was working last night, it's only today it "regionized" without generating an error so it took me a while to realize it had till my daughter couldn't find a program she liked.

But thanks for the help.

PS: This probably won't work for long but I changed my dynamo servers away from Cape Town and JHB, it's working at the moment.

Thats just terrible. I'd be so pissed if that happened to me. Thats the main reason I don't want Netflix. This on and off content is annoying and new content not being uploaded after airing. Nope not for me

AFAIK they are blocking the US catalog. I hope personally Africa gets lumped in with the EU when Netflix is negotiating rights

Netflix is trying too hard. I know it's not their choice , but they seem to be putting too much effort

Maybe they are about to start negotiating new contracts and want to show how strict/proactive they are.

:erm:

When your company is facing shut-down threats for licencing, I'm pretty sure they will put a lot of effort to keep it afloat.
Yeah. I'm sure they'll be happy after pleasing the corporates and chasing away the users :D

What bug fixes
Or you mean improvements in detection of geo-unblockers ?

The way I see it is no current geo-unblocker service will do, but as mentioned above, these are businesses that are making a very decent living from the services they supply. I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of coders working day and night to get around this.

Here's raising a drink to their success!

Yes netflix has one up on unotelly at the moment.

@OP the answer is yes, that exactly whats happening.

Oh well even the Roku is dead now... :-( time to cancel and go back to what I was doing before Netflix.
