Hauwei Vodafone B2000 LTE

Been using this very happily with Afrihost / MTN sim, would get 25mbs HSPA

wanted to try out Telkom mobile, in UMTS mode 1 bar and lucky to see 1mbs

Tried setting it to LTE but cannot find what APN to use and looking at The Telkom version of this router docs it looks like you actually login to Telkom mobile within the router

Getting 2 bars at least in LTE mode but just cannot connect.

Telkom confirmed I have LTE in the area

Any advice appreciated

Hi

As per my knowledge, LTE frequency is 2300 and for Vodacom/MTN/Afrihost is 1800. I am not sure if your Dongle is capable to handle both frequencies.
