Hi , I have Cell C modem (Huawei E1752) - with the old Cell C software (new software resulted in slow speeds and constant disconnects)
Now I dont have Cell C anymore as the data bundle expired, and I now use an 8ta sim in the Cell C modem.

So the problem is that I have to manually find SA02(3G) Operator for 8ta every time I connect to 8ta,
(Click settings, options, Network, Registration mode, manual search and register, refresh, click on SA02(3g) register.
This is a mission.

Is there a way to set up the software to default to SA02(3G)?
I have a few of these modems so I cannot replace all of them with 8ta modems now - I have to reuse the modems.
Under settings , options, profile management , there is a way to set up a different profile - but nowhere to select which Operator to connect to by default

It doesn't choose SA02 if you have it set to "auto search" in registration mode ?
Check in the network band options that what it is set on includes 2100

Or perhaps its still a roaming sim - have you bought promo specials with the sim before? eg the 2 +1GB

I agree, try 2100MHz first. if doesn't help, change band options to automatic. Then manually search network (as you do), chose SA02, press OK. Now change to automatic network search. Re-plug modem and see if network is found.
Band settings and network search mode is stored permamently in the modem (not a SIM nor dashboard connection profile). You need repeat the same with other modems. SIM problem is nor ruled out, but with roaming SIM it usually needs to do manual search once, it is remembered.

OK think this was a fail on my side, I restarted after I manually selected 8ta, and it worked (defaulted to 8ta), my bad.
thanks for the help!!
