Have DSTV and Top TV on same dish?

Hi There,

I stay in a complex. We use a communal dish for DSTV.

Is it possible to just get the decoder and plug into the wall (split the satelite cable) where the 1 goes into dSTV and the other into toptv? (as i want both)...

Or do the dishes need to be setup seperately (i.o.w do i need to install another dish somewhere to have top tv).

Far as I know the two signals are carried on different satellites so unless you realign the dish... which might piss off all the other residents of your complex, and you'll lose your DSTv signal any way.

There are ways of running both through the same system, but from 2 dishes. Speak to the body corp and ask them to have the system upgraded.

Sorry DSTV is on 68 east and Top TV is on Siruis 5 east
