It was enjoyable, as was the 100+- hours I put into BF3, and before that BC2. Did each over many months, with long breaks in between. Decent value I got out of all these titles. They're all flawed (Hardline, too), but I found they provided me much enjoyment, regardless.

Dunno if Hardline will last that long, but I'm going to give it a proper shot at least.

You'd understand if you'd watched the video. As I said, I'm not going to put myself through Hardline's hell when someone else has done so for me. Not to mention that the beta was enough Hardline to last me a lifetime.

Why not just play the far superior BF4 if you're into team play and having fun?

You are aware that BF4 ain't exactly hardcore either? It's a twitch shooter dressed up as a mil-sim. I didn't buy BF4 because I wanted a hardcore game that requires loads of teamwork and skill. The later BF games are more like CoD than ever and if it wasn't for the fact that nobody is left playing BF2, I wouldn't be playing BF3 or 4 at all.

Depends what game modes you play. BF3/4 is still a hell of a lot less twitchy than CoD.

If you want something more realistic get Arma 3. It's an awesome game.
