Hectic  :( How did you manage to escape from those psychotic dogs? They really need to be put down. They just fsuking attacked you for no reasons.

Dogs are dogs, and they did what dogs do. They should never have been out the property.

I've never heard of a dog asking for reasons before attacking.

Eish. I don't know how these things work but I think the owners should pay for your medical expenses etc. Just please don't make them put down the dog.

Why not? They should be put down like the dogs that they are.

Unless they were nicci's rats in which case feed them to the cats.

Oh right, it was totally a random attack because they happen to be dogs  It could have been a lot worse for OP.

Dogs that attack with no provocation in public spaces should be put down. What if it was a kid that got attacked? or maybe next time it will be a kid. The dogs have proved they are a danger to members of the public.

I walked into a friend's house during a thunderstorm, dropped something under the table and reached to pick it up. Sadly - his Rottweiler - normally a real sweetie, was hiding under the table in her basket. She saw movement, and bit at it. Luckily she realized what she was doing before drawing blood. I never thought a dog could look embarrassed.

Had a similar experience out riding on a bicycle a few years ago. Saw the dog coming so I had time to stop, realising there was no way I could get away. Just stood there watching the dog as it bit me on my leg. It gave me an almost apologetic look, turned around and went back home.

Yes I agree. But expecting rationality from an animal is irrational. First step is to prevent the circumstances from ever arising, i.e. making sure your dog is locked up. There is an even greater standard if your dog is vicious. There is nothing wrong with vicious dogs so long as they are not in public spaces, and immense caution is taken to ensure that is the case.

I think there's something very wrong with a vicious dog especially if it goes around attacking people without being provoked.

Vicious dogs are vicious dogs. They can't be fixed no matter what. The owner's so fsuking useless. He cannot be trusted to keep the dogs anymore.

Did you read about that nasty dog attack in East London that occurred last month? The owner couldn't control the fsuking dogs. They mauled one of his friend to death right in front of the owner.

The best possible outcome to this unfortunate situation is to have the dogs put down.

I was bitten by my friend's dog. Nothing as bad as the OP but the bitch left a permanent smiley face on my calf.

They can be (re)trained, and it's not as easy an excuse to say 'can't be fixed no matter what'. In any event, not much more to my position to add other than I don't see a baying for blood of punishment of the dogs as solving the issue. The owners will just get more dogs, and so the problem repeats itself.

Rather try rehome the dogs, or force the owners to put up proper barricades etc.

Some owners need to be taught a lesson, I've been bit a few times, I now walk with pepperspray, I'll use it on the dog, and then the owner if their dog tries to attack.
