Haven't had any tests....just light symptoms,for a few weeks.... prob had it and what i have is lingering effects
 
2x PCR last year
First was Negative (light nasal swab)
Second was Positive (about 2 months later; heavy nasal action)

Both times made sure they do the nasal version - would be a mess if they go for the throat.
After each I did have to blow my nose though.

Yes, PCR test to stay in hospital with wife for birth of our baby, negative both of us, the nurse did it really nicely, just watery eyes, no real pain.
 
Yep. Had 8 pcr tests to date. Last one was yesterday. so far all negative . Have to have one every 5-6 weeks so I can get my cancer treatments.

We have this questionnaire (something like 10 questions) we have to complete every day before you can log in. You answer "yes" to any 3 of those questions, you are not allowed to work and have to self-isolate for 10 days. AD literally locks your account immediately and you're unable to connect.

The irony?

We all work from home!!!
 
@bwana why no option for an antibody test? Antigen and antibody aren't the same thing. There are nasal antigen tests. The PCR test also doesn't have to be nasal

I've added antibody.

I never said the PCR test had to be nasal, it's just the nasal swab seems to be the most common. Anyway, it's not referred to in the poll. :)
 
Where do you have the test done. Not too much publicity about testing stations here in the Midlands, the 'Last Outpost'.
 
FYI.

Q: I have tested negative but the symptoms are still there…what now?

A: A patient can have a false negative if they have very little virus up there or perhaps the specimen was taken inappropriately. It didn’t get up high enough to actually get to the place where the virus was located. If a patient presents with symptoms of COVID-19 — cough, fever, shortness of breath — but they test negative, they should consult their health practitioner for further assessment.
