Daughter had the PCR test on the 9th January, wife had the PCR test back in October before a surgical procedure and again on the 12th January, as my daughters test was positive.

I was waiting for symptoms before taking the PCR test, but never presented so never tested... Wife was negative...

PCR test.
Feels like they are trying to push your eyeball out
Might have another this week.
I don't understand this - everyone says it feels like they are trying to dig out your brain, yet we can spread Covid just by breathing?

Should be able to pick up virus from anywhere in the respiratory text including mouth, rather than digging around the recesses of your soul
Don't they swab an area they believe may have a good sample? Like the mucous membranes?

Had a PCR test on Friday, burns like a hot poker but it was very quick

Negative

FFS Vanessa, the tests aren't accurate enough to detect smaller quantities so you'd obviously want to get the biggest sample possible.

Although saliva swabs are apparently better.

Yes. While in the process of having a heart attack. Asked the silly bitch if results would be available immediately. Of course not. Was only available a day later, after I could've already infected an entire cardio ICU ward. But "rules" are "rules".

I`m not sure which test it was but both were through the mouth and almost played with my vocal cords

1st PCR was a throat swab, the following 5 were via my shnozz and the last was an antigen test and was also via the shcozz.

All of them were nasty but the nose felt way worse compared to the throat.

Our company is busy debating the frequency of testing required by us and I do not look forward to their decision (Things like a PCR every fortnight and an antigen test twice a week was suggested).

PCR done a few weeks ago. Want to do Antigen soon - curious to see what it says.
