It's the effect I'm after here, trying to show you that your idea of shallow is just referencing people who have different standards to you. I think you're shallow for not wanting to date a fat guy.

You're a pretty ****ty person if you judge someone on their taste in partner. Ancalagon and Teh seem like pretty intelligent and rational dudes to me. I don't see why they couldn't have a whole bunch of good qualities and virtues. I see no reason to write them off because of some preference that has no affect on me.

Funny how this is beginning to sound like a pro gay rights post...

I'd say I'm still pretty calm, considering I'm being attacked from all sides by people who insist that refusing to date someone because they're slightly homely is no less shallow than refusing to date someone because of traits and habits that they can actually change.

Anyway, as much as I'd like to continue spending my friday afternoon having debates on MyBB, I'm actually running a bit short on time. See you guys again tomorrow.

Mate, you need to stop eating stuff you find behind people's DSTV decoders. Nobody mentioned gay rights or anything, so please don't put words in my mouth. Why this discussion even makes you think of gay rights is far ****ing beyond me.

Actually, no. I'd like not to have such a severe reaction to cigarette smoke, I guess in the same way people allergic to cats wish they weren't allergic to them.
 
Wow was out for the day and return to find that this thread really has taken off. I need to give some context to my earlier rant: recently I have been in contact with this potential client who is really really rude and acts like she is the most gorgeous thing on earth when in reality she's a 6 at best in fact she is in my regard a total biatch, she was totally delusional if you had to ask her she'd say she was the most intelligent person in the world not only the most beautiful this brought back memories of my high school and college days and the girls have encountered that were really similar to her. Now that I think about the last time encountered a female with that level of biatchness was probably still in my early 20's, think I've been pretty lucky in that regard

My post was beginning to sound like a pro gay rights post. In fact our of context that's probably how most people would have read it.

To be fair you're quite a shallow thinker, so have fun on your high horse.

He's not bringing the subject of gay rights into this, he's drawing parallels between his post addressing your content, and how the wording is starting to sound similar to a pro gay rights post. Seems that instead of running short on time, you're running short on rational thinking.

No man, are you trying to be thick? You can't accuse people of being shallow for not not wanting to date ugly people, and in the same breath state that you refuse to date obese people.
 
Our weekly Zewp vs Nick tirade.
Shallow is allocated to physical traits. Someone who smokes would have smokers breath <~ hygienic. Preference is a pretty word for shallow as much as ambition is a pretty word for leads to money.
Keep arguing and digging your own grave. Be a little more open minded Zewp. The scale is bull **** but like MJ said; that was a description for the subset of women with pooop personalities.
