Will it ever happen?

Yes it will, the real question is when??

We had been away for a couple of days in a GPRS invested area but it is so slooow. I was unable to use up my data so I forfeited about 580 meg  ^)%^$%@ & of course I went OOB with prepaid & with data left they (VC) took all of my airtime credit R15.74. The "B" but then some people on this Forum are saying you deserve it etc. It is OK for VC & there resellers to rip us off but if people on the Forum use/exploit the loopholes they are called thief's????
I went over 24:00 lost my data & then was billed at prepaid OOB rates. Yes I got all the warning SMS's so what? I could not purchase a new bundle coz no data no credit. I had to use old faithful & purchase on-line.

Rollover needs to happen now!

wow! This still hasn't been implimented by either Vodacom or MTN. Our mobile operators are starting to suck as bad as Telkom. They also changing from doing a country wide service to just making money

PPDB & Paid for. What you sow you will reap

I told you so.

Due to no Rollover. I donated +- 500MB & +- R19 to Vodacom's community fund. I am quite proud of myself. What you sow you will reap.:D

I am positive about this whole thing let's give more so we can receive more. Stop thinking about me me me.

R2 per meg is absolute extortion. Allowing only one data bundle per month is absolute extortion!

Time period for pay as you go data bundles

I have just found out, to my detriment, that Vodacom pay as you go data bundles expire 1 month after purchase, irrespective of a credit still exists!

Isn't this illegal? Surely I should be able to use what I paid for?

Incidentally, MTN have the same attitiude.

They all do that I'm afraid. A friend of mine also found out the hard way. He bought 1 GB and had about 800 MB left on day 30, and 0 MB on day 31.

How could you have missed the part that your remaining megs will be forfeited after 30 days, when you made the purchase?

That's what I was wondering, whenever I buy a PPDB I have to go through about 3 confirmation prompts where all the details are laid out.

Exactly my point. And i just checked the Vodacom4me site also, you have to click on the "I have read and understood TERMS AND CONDITIONS" before you can purchase a bundle, and in there it tells you everything, including that your bundle expires after 30 days.

If you think about it.... you paid for a 1GB data bundle, so IT'S YOURS. Why should it expire in one month? Because Vodacom wants to make more money out of you! If talktime can roll over, why not data bundles?

I can't understand how people actually accept it....being brainwashed good.

On the contrary, you have a choice. You can either buy a Data Bundle which expires in 30days, or you dont... Your choice, not so?

Once you pay for it, you also agree to the Terms and Conditions for buying and using that Bundle. If you arent happy with the Terms and Conditions, or you dont understand it, dont waste your money by buying the bundle.

Theft and profiteering and collusion and monopolies are crimes against capitalism and people (no matter what the T&C have to say.)
