Man, have I had the truly worst experience ever in my years of online shopping.

I placed my order for some phone and tablet accessories sometime in March and was told that the delivery would be done by 14 April. As time went on, I kept on emailing their office and was met with similar late responses telling me that a supplier had not yet shipped my items. As it came to the middle of the year, I was not receiving any feedback unless I tried repetitively. I had been given no warnings as to a late shipment and no apologies to this matter. On Friday (18 July) the package was finally delivered to my house with AN INCORRECT ITEM. I emailed them back on that day and have still got no response. When I try to use their online live support service, I keep getting the same message upon login "We encountered a problem (cross-site request forgery detected); please try again."

I don't really care as to why they got my order wrong, but if it is not rectified soon I am taking legal action against them as I have warned them before.

If anybody is reading this and is planning to buy from them, I would STRONGLY advise you to look elsewhere. Have2Have is truly the worst.

I have been buying electronics and accessories online for so many years and I have never seen this level of terrible customer support, appalling disregard for customer satisfaction and a utter incompetence with something as simple as ensuring the correct item was shipped AFTER FOUR MONTHS OF DELAYS.

Been waiting almost a month for a battery for my Galaxy S2. Shoulda bought directly from Amazon...

heck I'm glad i didn't go ahead and buy some stuff through them...
they're quick as heck to reply with a quote, but not with the actual items it seems

I wish I could afford the lawyers everyone has these days.

It helps to have lawyers in the family.

You're thinking of wantitall.

Not sure why people don't just use ebay, etc.

PayPal was not an option to me unfortunately.

I cant even get them to respond to email..........

Same here, I have tried many times. On one occasion Simon told me they take 2 days to respond to mail (who knows why since they are hardly doing anything except annoying their customers), although I have waited a lot more time than 2 days on nearly every sent mail.

My Wife was caught by Have2Have now as well , out R4000 . She was also told something along the lines of Have2Have getting sold etc and was promised delivery (worse case scenario according to them ) in 2 week . Well that was like 3 weeks ago and since that last e mail 3 weeks back there has been no replies to numerous e mails , faxes and Facebook messages . I now see their website is down completely as is their Facebook page .

Iv tried Contacting Mr Simon Swanich (the owner of Have2Have) via Facebook and his personal twitter account but he too does not bother replying , so its not looking good at all .

My wife has reported it to Standard Bank Credit card division and they are using the whole it will take 23 days to investigate run around . What a load of rubbish , 23 days in this day and age is just madness .

I must admit personally I find what Mr Simon Swanich has done utterly disgusting (to put it mildly) . He had no problem taking customers money and then whether he has sold or not he should have at least had the guts to send out an e mail to all the effected Customers explaining the way forward etc etc . This after literally spending a small fortune with Have2Have over the past 4 years .

Iv told my wife she should go and open a case at the police station , in my books its fraud and theft . Really annoying ,guys like this should not be allowed to own a business again . We are but one Customer ,but I imagine there are many out there in the same boat . There were a couple on the Have2Have Facebook page that had actually taken their stories to Carte Blanche and had lost a good deal more than the R4000 we are out ,shortly after they posted this the Facebook page was removed . Bottom line ,new owners or not they wont see our money again because even the new owners don't bother answering e mails or faxes ,that's assuming that they have indeed been taken over by new management .

Im glad we always use our credit card for online purchases , I just hope my wife manages to get some sort of action from Standard Bank and get her money back ,but that might just be wishful thinking .

I know you've reported it to Standard Bank.. but make sure that you are lodging an actual dispute over the payment.. if you do that you will get the money back.

I have bought an item from have2have in April already if I am correct. Did this through Bid-or-buy.

I have now been advised to open a case of at the police because he just simply refuse to refund or deliver the product. Not really worth the effort for me, because my order was R280 odd, but will do it if other people will also be willing to open a case of fraud against the guy.

I'm going to make a last attempt to contact him today (if I get his contact details). Otherwise, I am in.

FNB Informed me that because the Cheque Card transaction was via a Point-of-Sale service, they cannot reverse the payment.

If I open a case against Have2Have, do I open it against the company or Simon Swanich?

It is still a Visa/Mastercard branded card? If so, this still applies - remember, that most banks will try and make this process quite difficult (I found SBSA to be the easiest, although they will not do anything about the fraud part and will not penalise the merchant).

My wife got her Standard Bank Charge Back reference today , only took Standard Bank a whole week to give her just the reference number ! Now she has been told that it will take 2 months for the query to be investigated and resolved . I must be honest , I think that is shocking . I do not understand just how it can take that long to complete a query . Well good luck to them trying to contact Have2Have and Mr Simon Swanich , Iv tried now so many times in the past 3 weeks with no luck .

I've only ever once had an issue with a charge back - and that was with ABSA - and I sorted it out by contacted VISA.

Not sure where the banks make it difficult.

Always pay with a credit card.
Credit card fraud is rife in this country, I wonder if part of the reason that these stores go under is because of it.

All it takes is one bad card to inflict major financial pain, and its not always possible to pickup the fraud, suddenly two months down the line you get an unexpected reversal and with useless cops, not much can be done.......
