hi to all

first off im not very smart when it comes to networking :<

im having trouble setting up 2 different isp connections on 1 pc

1st connection is working fine. isp is mweb, just plug in cable and it works

2nd connection is not. its a different isp and i wanna connect to it when i wanna do big download and such.

now how do i go about setting this one up? without me changing (isp settings on the first one, ie web-configurator router settings)

thanks in advance

using vista professional and some telkom router :/

unfortunatly with that modem afaik u cant half bridge that modem :(
u may need to get a other modem alternatively u can put that modem into full bridge mode and make 2 adsl "dailup" connections and surf with the account u want to at that time

Telkom ADSL 5100 router.

I am pretty sure that that's the router my neighbor is using.
We had to upgrade the software on it to get it to be able to do compatibility mode.
I found the link for the upgrade on this site.

if you want to dial more than 1 PPPoE connection concurrently from your PC, you need either RASPPPoE (if you're on XP) or registry modifications (if you're on Vista/7).
Ofcourse your router has to be in half-bridge or bridging mode for you to be able to even dial an account from your PC.

Since you're on Vista:
Download the following registry file, import/merge it into your registry and restart your PC.
* This is exactly the same registry file that we give to people using RouteSentry.

If you don't want to dial the accounts from your PC, your only other option would be to dial 1 at a time with the router like the previous users said.
