Hi Guys,

I have a quick question I think I just bought a R13000k paper weight, i currently own an LG 42 Plasma (852x480) and bought a Sony Bravia V Series (1080p) LCD TV. And on normal Dualview decoder with MCE the TV looks really crap. Now a lot of people have commented that I need to purchase a HD PVR, to get the benefit of channel 170. But I am not sure if I can support this within Windows 7. So my questions:

1. Is Windows 7 able to control the HD PVR?
2. Is there a HD Tv Tuner with component or HDMI IN that supports 720p

Cool
Thanks
Andrew

Unless the Win7 Machine is HDMI compliant and supports HDCP you'll battle to get channel 170 playing through the HTPC.... plus any SD content will look strange on an HDTV since it has to upscale, and depending on the upscaling it could be excessive..

As an extra bit..

Don't forget that TV in this country is 4:3 aspect ration and both your TVs are 16:9 so if you're filling the screen you'll be distorting the picture to do so.
