HD PVR with two HD TV's with two HDMI cables

I have a SD dualview PVR - both Tv's are full HD

I want to upgrade to HD PVR, but I can't work out how I can get two full HD feeds to the two Tv's.

I intend to run two HDMI cables - one to each TV.

Is there a decoder that will do this?

If you want to watch two separate HD channels at the same time, then you'll need 2 HD PVRs

I would have thought that there would be lots of people who own more than one HD tv.
There's not much point in watching a full HD tv fed by an RF signal - even the sound is mono!
I've heard of a Strong SRT 4896 DUAL VIEW - PVR - can this or any similar device be used on DSTV to get separate feeds?
Anyone else own two HD Tv's??

No dual view available. This is old news. You can't use third party decoders...

Either XtraView an HD PVR and your existing old SD PVR. You can then split the same HDMi feed from the HD PVR to the 2 screens. Otherwise drop the SD PVR and get 2 HD PVR's set up for XtraView. Those are your 2 options...

You can output the same feed from the PVR by using an HDMI splitter, but then you will not be able to watch separate channels on both TVs.

Not sure about that PVR.

I have 2 HD TVs, one SD PVR and one HD PVR. I only have HD on the one TV though.

So what everyone else has said, only one TV can have HD and the others will need to be set up using extra view.

If you only want to watch 1 channel on both TV's you could use something like this:

brite-view Air SyncHD (BV-2322)

No ****ty cable runs with splitters and extenders and and and.

Check www.kalahari.net, they have HD pvr's for R1400.
I bought my 2nd one recently from Makro for R1500.
Its is defn worth it, both my LCD's look awesome now, even on SD content.

The cheap decoder just looks crap on a LCD (otherwise get a Plasma).
