Has anyone experienced these bugs/issues with HD PVR:

My HD PVR suddenly tells me my record list is at 100%, even though its at 30% etc. I then switch it on and off a few times, and it corrects itself.
It wont record a program if its already started, although it shows the screen info as if it is recording, but nothing there.
The bookmarks dont work. Seems if I have set bookmarks across a few channels, its not able to go there in the buffer.
The EPG is often empty, so it shows days of the week etc, but no program information.

How can I sort this out?
Any advice will be appreciated.
 
Have you tried doing a software update? Or take it your your closest multichoice branch. See if they can save your recordings.
 
I have tried the software update, in so far as checking that it is scheduled to update. Is there a way to do it manually?
As a last resort I will take it in, but need the time available first for that.

Yes, I have had all of those. I just live with it since MC will delete all my recordings if they "fix" it.

They told me they do not save the recordings or transfer it to another unit when you send it in for repairs/replacement

So they do acknowledge the problems then?
 
I have the same problem with the decoder reporting the disk is full when it isn't. It started on Friday - quite irritating really.
 
Also, I cant live with it. Last Sat I missed the Bok/Eng game because I thought it was recording. The info bar even showed it as recording, but nothing on the playlist.

That particular bug also started quite recently with me, last week or 2. Have they released a dodgy patch?
 
I was just wondering how this happened. HD PVR was working OK except for the bookmark bug, and now suddenly more bugs. Surely everyone should be getting these bugs then if it was in a software update?
 
The hard drive is failing. These things don't last.
