Hey folks.

I am looking for some nice headphones for a very noisy office environment.
My biggest issue is that i dont have time to get out to the shops so i would like to buy it online.
Any suggestions?

Besides the price on those Sennheisers, they'd be terrible for your purpose as well, as they are open eared and thus won't block out noise much.

analog or USB?

I think Sennheisers are of the best headphones currently available: They might not have an online shop, but mail them and ask for your requirements: Last time they delivered to us, and we even got a bit of a discount.

Be warned: They have a HUGE range.

Be warned: you might never go back to anything else.

I was gonna suggest HD-555's if you can get them but those are older models. They have some new earphones that look cool, like the HD-238.

No ways. Sennheiser is entry level regarding good in-ear earphones and headphones. Bose and B&O are far superior...

Have a look at the Sennheiser HD 380 Pro DJ: http://www.prophecy.co.za/sennheiser-djpro-folding-closed-studio-headphones-p-61524.html
You might be able to get it cheaper by importing it or by buying it at another place in SA.

I have the HD 555 and my brother has that HD 380 Pro DJ earphones and I'm really impressed with the quality and comfort of the HD 380 Pro DJ. Both of those have awesome sound quality, but the HD 380 Pro DJ has much better passive noise cancelling, where as the HD 555 has virtually nothing.

Noise canceling headphones would be best for you but not sure were to buy them besides the music shops

Merenwenrago, you should have a look at how well passive noise cancelling can work as well - like what you get with that Sennheiser HD 380 Pro DJ :)

Of course active noise cancelling would remove even more background noise.

some time ago I bought a pair of "SOMIC 5.1 surround headphones" for COD.
It was cheap compared to the branded names and turned out to be the best headset I've ever owned.
I should have bought 2.

The build quality, base, and external noise suppression beat my old Sony headset (expensive) and a mate's expensive DJ headset by a long country mile.
Bought the thing at Matrix.
