Hi there,
I wanna buy a new set of headphones but i wanna spend my money well.
Im looking for comfortable, "surround" good bass headsets.
Something like this:

this is a gamer mouse too which is great but im not sure how the bass of them are though when listening too music.
Oh and needs to have a mic.

Ive got a budget between R400 could push for R500 tho.
Anything good and cheaper would be great tho haha :p

Thanks

Have you looked at the Logitech Precision Gamer headset? It's quite good...

Agreed. Logitech always make good sound stuff. I had a logitech headset once was very nice and comfortable and didn't have that too-soft-sounding-syndrome that most other headsets seem to have.

Looks good i must say but 2 questions.
I see its "open headphones" doesnt this get irritating hearing everything around u as this doesnt block out background sounds?

Because its a gaming headset how would the bass be for these ones when listening to music?

I do believe these ones are great tho just want to make sure :)

Thanks

I own a pair and they are fantastic :)

They do block out a fair bit of noise, but not every single background noise. This isn't such a big issue for me, though...

The bass is terrific, I was pleasantly surprised when I compared the Logitech's bass to that of my old headset :)

Sounds very convincing :D
Ok one last thing lol, if you were in my shoes which one do you think is better the link i posted in my first thread? or the logitech one?

I'd buy the Logitech one because I've had very good experiences with them in the past and I love my headset :)

Hope you have the same experience with yours :)

I've also asked this question and after a lot of rummaging through all the different headphones I settled on the Koss KSC-75 headphones for $20 (<---yup that's right, 20 bucks) from Amazon.com through wantitall.co.za, best decision ever. :)

Im sure I will cause you just convinced me too buy it lol :p
Ok so like where can I buy it i searched everywhere online for it haha
Im based in Cape Town and would actually prefer to get it from a store rather than buying online. Where u got yours? :p

Thanks for ur help :D

I bought mine from Rectron in Johannesburg whilst a buddy of mine bought his from New World in Pretoria... Maybe an Incredible Corruption (uhm, Connection :D) in Cape Town will stock one?

But have a look at feo's suggestion before deciding what to buy. Research is important :)

And it's no problem :)

Yep, you don't necessarily have to go for the Koss ones, it's just that I wasn't prepared to shell out a lot of cash of decent headphones so I just wanted the best bang for my buck which the Koss wins hands down.

Hmmm guess i could checkout rectron in cpt :p
Ok but are these headsets comfortable though because i read that this one but the premium headset (dont know if its the same one), alot of people complain that they are too tight and get very uncomfortable after regular use

*does more research*

I can wear my headset for a 16-hour stretch without any discomfort. But I guess some people might find it uncomfortable, it could be a tight fit for some...

sounds good, i have a small head so should be fine :p

thx ill definitely keep this on my list, but will research for more :D

There is a USB version of this as well, which I am considering getting. The Logitech's I have at the moment are very uncomfortable. Maybe it is my big head.

I've heard about the USB version, haven't seen it though...

No comment about the big head :D

Do headsets exist that you can plug into your PC for Skype AND your phone line for landline calls?
