Hi,

I have cholestral and want to go on a diet.

However, I lurrrve my Chocolates.

What are the healthiest chocolates I can eat and still loose weight?

Any dark choc from 85% up should be fine.
How often do you eat chocolate?

Just fyi cholesterol and sugar doesn't have a relation. 75% of cholesterol is normally made inside the liver and high cholesterol is usually a sign of another deficiency like Vitamin D. As for the chocolates go for the highest cocoa percentage you can tolerate.

Most people who say they love chocolate are just addicted to the sugar. I'd suggest you start going keto and slowly phase out breakfast

FYI sugar causes inflammation and in many cases with people with insulan resistance actually causes damages blood vessels, it is this damage that triggers the body to try to repair this damage with cholesterol.

It is not a reaction to sugar. Cholesterol seems to be a reaction to low Vitamin D. Quite logical as it's a precursor so your body will make more if there's a deficiency and Vitamin D also often results in it going down. Unless it's abnormally high it's not dangerous by itself but rather an indication that something else is wrong. Vitamin D is also a factor is weigh gain and insulin resistance so he should have his levels checked.

Most plaques actually consist more of calcium and not cholesterol.

High Dark is an option, otherwise look into the caring candies brand or diablo.

Lindt 85% or Lindt 90%.

But you can also immediately stop eating pasta and bread, and stop adding sugar to your coffee. Stop eating rusks and breakfast cereal.

Firstly you cannot get addicted to sugar, it's not a drug and no don't go quoting those articles that show it lights up the same pathways as cocaine it's BS, anything pleasurable lights up the same pathways. Also a lot of people who like chocolate actually don't like any other sweet things. I love chocolate, but I don't drink any sugar in my coffee, don't eat any other sweet things.

I've made my own a few times with coconut milk, raw cacao, honey and raw cashew nuts.
Easy to make, tastes great and with only a spoon full of honey per 200g, it doesn't contain much sugar either.

You need to bring your definintion of addiction out of the 1960s
