I bought the Extra-Creamy variant and it was exactly like that as well. I thought I got a bad batch. Tasted like shitty Miracle-Whip which can't legally classify itself as Mayo due to lack of egg.
Never again.
I would have been disappointed even at R20 a jar.

Woolies had their tangy Mayo on special 2x jars for 50 bucks.
Three problems with that - 1) since it was invented in the 1930s they've never tried to call it mayonnaise, 2) it contains egg, and 3) in order to qualify as mayonnaise in the US it has to have a minimum of 65% vegetable oil.
