Telkom need the B to activate my fibre line

The line should be active already when Openserve technician leaves the property.

The B number should not be required to activate but Telkom would be able to obtain the B number from the order they have placed.

That should not be the case at all. This could mean that the installation is incomplete and Telkom would need to log a fault with Openserve to assist with the incomplete installation order.

My fibre line was installed 20 days ago. The Los light is flashing red on the ONT since installation. However the technician didn't bring the Wi-Fi router. My question is do you need Wi-Fi router to be connected on the ONT for the Los to disappear or for the fibre line to be active

Red los light flashing means a fibre fault. Plugging in a router won't make a difference.
