Help! 8ta on Tab

I got my prepaid sim and removed the roaming. Thought I was then ready to test. The sim refuses to open a data connection on the tab. Cellc and mtn work seamlessly but nothing with 8ta.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

How do I get that number? there is no thing like that in the starter pack.

works in my f480. But I use my tab for the hotspot.

I've got a Nokia N8, I've downloaded Joikuspot and can use mine for my devices.

Works pretty well...

How do I get that number? there is no thing like that in the starter pack.

It is the SIM number and normally starts with 89270 and is 20 digits long

Thanks! Just emailed them. Although when they mailed me yesterday top inform me that my roaming has been removed,i replied to tell them that I couldn't get a data connection but never got a reply. Hopefully they get back to me now.

Thanks for the assistance. Was a simple solution in the end. I was disappointed with the speed though, didn't even each 3mbs. Slower than cellc. I find it strange since the map used instore showed full coverage. How many coverage maps are there?

The sim card doesn't create an APN automatically. If I remember correctly. New APN name must be '8ta internet' and the next setting must be 'internet'. Can't remember the name of the setting. Using this it created the data connection.
