Rather buy the 8600GT 512MB from PCInternational (I think it's R789 excluding VAT) :)

Apart from rather buying the 8600GT instead of the 8500GT (I hear it's pretty crap), why DDR400? I'd rather get 667/800. Except of course if you have a PCI-E x16 slot and a motherboard with DDR400.

Well DDR400 it is then. the price is fine for that. Both Cyberdyne and Prophecy are leading stores with decent prices and good service.
What 8600GT you buy is really dependant on what you want. 256/512MB...

Are you serious about gaming? Because if you are then stay away from the 86xx series...

Take 2 are ok, but be prepared to wait. They're not called Take 2(months) for nothing.

I play mostly COD1,COD4,Unreal..
What is wrong with the 8600 series?

They don't offer the same price/performance that the previous cards (read 6600GT, 7600GT) and newer cards (read 9600GT, 8800GT) offer. But if you're not too serious about gaming it should be just fine :)
