help d-link 504g router

Hi Guys

I am attempting to set up the d-link 504g router for internet access. i have completed the firmware upgrade recently recommended by d-link sa and i am able to get into the the router management software through my browser. unfortunately on the quick config page, whenever i attempt to submit my settings, an error message appears telling me that the attempted action failed beacuse the VC is already in use. i have attempted deleting the VC and re-inputting my settings but is does not seem to work.

If anyone can shed any light on how i go about fixing this please let me know, i am desperate to get connected and the d-link tech support guys are on leave until the 5th of january.

Please don't use the Quick Config,

Go to WAN and select PPP, add all your PPP info there submit it.
Go to services then select DNS and add the DNS IP addresses there.

All you need to do now is to commit and reboot.
