Help - Fibre

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know who can offer me Fibre to the home in the Johannesburg South Area? I am desperately in search of someone to provide some connectivity.

They are not going to deploy it unless there is enough interest...

I myself am considering going door to door to get my area to sign up and show interest so that they will take my area seriously...

They all state that unless there is interest and a guarantee that 30% of the area of interest show that they will sign up for the service they wont consider it...

they are Really only focusing on where they are guaranteed to make money right now...

I want Vumatel in my area... which is a middle class area... and they are only focused on the rich areas right now...

Your best bet is to do what those neighborhoods in JHB did, get the community behind a petition and request then Dark fibre or Vumatel to make a Proposal or At least they will then take you seriously...

You have to take this matter into your own hands or just sit and wait for them to discover your hood someday.

Im now told that my exchange is overutilized and I cannot even get ADSL, I have tried many Wireless ISP's including BITCO, AMEOBA, Neotel, MWEB and all cannot get line of sight, Looks like I may be destined to be in the dark. :-(

Ok, im waiting for a list of contacts for all the Tenants / owners in my building I will then submit the interested parties with signatures to all the market players - Will keep all posted

Also im told WUGS have no internet access
