help. firewall

erm... does mac have a firewall?
i use aMsn. i can recieve people's webcams... but i cant let other's view mine. in settings it says i use port 6891 for sending webcam... but wen i test the port is says i am behind a firewall or router. i have opened the port on my Netgear router and i get the same error in msn =\ is there a mac firewall i need to get around too?

Yes it does, look in the System Preferences under sharing

Or if you're an old BSD hand, just drop into a terminal and do some ipfw voodoo

Gotta love OSX - best of both worlds....

well it appears my firewall wasnt even turned on i opened port 6891 but msn still gives me "u are behind a firewall or router"
how weak.
any ideas?

Then it could be your router - have you tried putting the mac in a DMZ?
