Help : Gigaset762sx support???

I'm trying to configure my modem so that I can use RASPPPoE and Route Sentry, problem is that I can't find a setting that will enable me to put it in Bridge mode and I can't find anything WAN related...

(NOOOB), I know very little when it comes to networking

Please advise,

I have : *win xp

*Siemens Gigaset762sx

*Telkom do2 connection

*Axxess pre-paid 1gig unshaped

If it turns out you need another modem, ive got a Linksys WAG345G DSL modem that can do 2 PPPOE sessions etc,etc. I'll gladly give you mine and pay a bit extra for yours. Im looking for this modem..

Um, would why would you want to sell urs? would it be able to do the whole Route Sentry thing?

Yes mine works, urs is a voip capable and ive worked on one at a client I WANT IT!!!!

Gigaset762sx does support bridging, and does so out of the box. whats the problem?

I don't know how to set it up, but I saw an option by "protocol" called Bridging (MER) whatever that means, the setting it's currently on is PPPoE...

Well if you say it supports Bridging, then I'll give the modem support a call.
