Help I think Telkom is ripping me off!

Ok I've got Telkom uncapped 1Mb internet and the bill is supposed to be like R518/pm. But they are billing me over R800 every month! That's WAY more than their displayed R369 price over here --> http://www.telkomsa.net/ And even when including the R149/pm line rental it doesn't amount to R820+!! That's the bill I'm getting!

The invoice tells me my line rental is R700! WHAT?! Why R700?!

It sound right , the R369 is only for the adsl data account .

Adsl uncapped data = R369
Adsl line rental = R289
Telkom line rental = R140

Total R 798

You see my problem is that they don't make this clear. Like I hate feeling duped. Every month I've just been recieveing bills, and have been paying with no problem, but it seems as though they've hidden allot of this. You see R369/pm there and that's it. Like, just ****ing tell us we'll be paying so and so amount. Stop hiding the **** in order to get more subscribers.

Yeap. And since many uncapped users are ONLY using the line for ADSL we're paying R122 (phone line stuff) for NOTHING. Add in the fact that there are a few hundred thousand of us, and Telkom's getting R122x a few hundred thousand per month FOR NOTHING.

But still they one hundred billin times less of a criminal institution than Voda**** (vodacom). Vodacom's THE WORST ISP on the planet!
 
Maybe the wrath of Telkom's customers will one day bite them in the arse when there is proper alternatives when LLU becomes practical and a reality.. like in first world countries for example.

Totally. Vodacom's already losing customers BIG TIME due to there being far cheaper and more reliable sources of internet connectivity. Eventually the rip-off artists ALWAYS bite the dust.

vodacon and telkom sucks equally much in my books..
I believe their ceo's and shareholders need an image makeover done on them. Courtesy of the bros
