its cool if you want less cables (as only 1 cable would be needed for the HDPVR), but you still need to conect it to a multi switch if you going to go for xtraview

Can't use a MS with a SatCR
I don't think SDPVRs are compatible with SatCRs anyway (QT can clarify), so it wouldn't help in this case

You don't need any specific size dish to get HD, you can run it off a caravan dish if you want. The bigger the dish the less weather related interruptions you will have, so a 60cm is generally fine unless you live on the Cape coast or something

Isn't it also easier to align a bigger dish? Would make self-install easier I'd imagine. When I had mine installed, got an 90cm installed on advice from the MC website (https://care.dstv.com/main.aspx?ID=2010)
