I'm willing to push it up to 150K. VW seems to have good resale value if I decide to sell the car in 3 years time and spare parts seem to be in abundance and fairly reasonable.

True, VW is generally better at holding its value. Just factor in the service costs, maintenance costs, etc before going at this based on “resell value” alone.
Also look at it this way, if VW holds its resell value, then if you buy a second hand Vivo you are equally overpaying the first owner.
