Help needed - downloading/installing Microsoft Office 2013 Plus

Please help PLEEASEE

Bought Office through the HUP - but is not able to download /install.

Got the mail with the key and the download button.

It just downloads the "installer program".

"Setup.x86.en-US_ProPlusRetail_Qxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx_act_1_"

I try to run this but then nothing happens. (

I disabled pop-up blocker and the firewall.

It takes an hour or two for the installer to actually show some life, i.e. a progress screen. Check taskman if it is still running, if not, run it again and be patient. Patience is the mother of profit.

Not running in Task man - first try was at 7 this morning and several times afterwards - no can do

Weird.
It required this from me, on install:

Run the executable
Allow it via the administrator install thingy
Then it takes a while to setup, and then download and install.


Did this on two Windows 8 computers and didn't have any issues.

I also had problems downloading so after buying the code from HUP I registered for a trial at technet.microsoft.com and downloaded the image then used the HUP code I bought.

The automatic download thing worked for me, but it took like 3 hours to download on my 2Mbps ADSL line, probably because the download was shaped by my ISP or something like that. I hate it when I cannot just download an offline installer so that I can share it with my colleagues...

I'll see if I cannot get that Technet download to work too.
