So wait, she has a whole body with one leg injury and you use it as an excuse for laziness? Come on... my fiancé broke her back, leg and arm in a scooter accident and not even a year later she is back at gym.

You need a lesson in manners. I would not call your wife damaged goods, so please don't dare calling my lady lazy. I don't Gym either. We work the whole flipping day, have a house to attend to and the list goes on. So take your snotty attitude somewhere else.![]()
A contract is a contract mate, whether it is Gym, DSTV or Cell.
You sign, you are liable.
+1
There is no way out of this no matter what the excuse. You signed you paid.
And don't even think about defaulting on payment - you will be black listed and then be in a world of ****.
Rather just pay up and then try and sell the contract to someone else.
Clearly you and the rest who keep on badgering me about this issue needs to go back to first grade. Seriously.teraside, are you that stubborn that you can't clearly see that not one person here agree's with you on you idea of being able to get out of the contract? It is legally binding, all the requirements have been met for the contract to be valid and the gym is perfectly entitled to demand payment till the term is up, no excuses!
All the suggestions have been offered and the consequences easily explained but you continue to sit there saying "no but surely I can do this or that, its not fair!" Caveat Subscriptor - look it up...
You're lucky tera - my gym's contract stated we were able to transfer it to someone else, but couldn't do that when we wanted - it also said we could "stop" for a month long period (payment & membership) when going on holiday, etc - couldn't do that either!
your GF doesn't have a leg to stand on though (no pun intended) so just try to pass the membership to someone else?(unless they do what our gym did, and say "sorry you cant")
WTF is the yearly admin fee for as opposed to your monthly membership?
Is it in the contract?!
If its Planet Fitness, they deduct from all members on 1 December the amount equivalent to a month's subscription as a yearly 'admin' fee. That could be the debit order you are referring to. In that case she has not paid then.
admin fee?
thieves!
Let's do the hip hop abs
I love the "Get Busy" move![]()
