Please help RE Outgoing server settings. I have an email account with Telkom, and I changed my internet line to Vodacom fibre recently, keeping my telkomsa.net email address. My internet and incoming email works fine with same settings I had in Thunderbird. However I cannot send email. So I tried to change my outgoing server settings to smtp.vodacom.co.za and tried smtp.vbmail.co.za - it then asks my password for my Telkom email account, which I correctly enter, but refuses to send, giving an error. Port is set at 25. I phoned Vodacom, could not help, said it is Telkom whom must set something, and Telkom says its Vodacom ‘s outgoing server settings. Can someone help –PLEASE.
