Help needed regarding b:e1 HD PVR Error??

Hey there guys,

I rebooted my HD PVR to do the update....and now it comes up with a b:e1 error! and no matter what I do...or how many times I reboot it wont even come back on and the red light under ERROR flashes.

Can anybody shed some light on this situation for me?? Please Im in desperate need and dont know what to do, no can I get through to DSTV support....almost as bad a Telkom support.

I've got a pdf of front panel notifications. That one is indicative of interupted downloads. Recoverable with a forced download. I'm not sure how to force a download on an HD PVR. I can find out on Monday if you are still struggling.

Follow the steps below to perform a front panel forced upgrade:

· Reset decoder

· Wait for "DL" to be displayed

· Press "Standby"

· Press "Up Arrow"

· Press "Down Arrow"

· Press "Standby"

Thank you very much!!! It worked! Im sure with all the ugrades going on at the moment Im not the only one out there. Dam...this saved me all the time and effort of going to the dstv home office to have it swapped! and I get to watch the Manchester Derby today!
