Hi I'm really struggling at the moment to connect via a PPPOE connection from my pc (Windows Xp) that has the following setup:
PC -> Lan Cable -> Dlink DAP 1155 Wireless Bridge/AP (Bridge Mode) -> Wifi -> Telkom Netgear Router/Modem -> ADSL Internet

The Netgear router is logged in to my telkom internet account and works perfectly. Using the setup normally my PC has internet via my telkom account. But when I want to connect to another ISP from my PC via the build in windows PPPOE connection wizard I get the following error:

"Error 678: The computer did not respond"

The Netgear is set up to allow PPPOE relay and the same settings do work on my laptop (WIndows 7) for the following setup without and error and does connect to the secondary ISP.
Laptop -> Wifi -> Netgear Router/Modem -> ADSL Internet

Am I missing something? Is this setup possible and how can I make it work or does the problem lie with the DAP 1155 bridge? Any help or more information would be appreciated. Have been struggling with this for a few days now already.

[EDIT] Adding a basic diagram of the setup.
Code:
PC1 <----> Dlink -- [Wifi] -- Netgear ADSL Router
             ^        |
PC2 <--------┘        |
                      |
Laptop ---------------┘

Think you already proved the problem is with the bridge.... so suppose yes, problem lies with the bridge setup :p

So just remove it and connect straight to the netgear over wireless...

But my pc doesn't have wireless... And I have two pc's connected to the bridge that I use together as one with "Mouse without borders". So the solution isn't really that simple. They are upstairs. While the netgear is downstairs. Thus connected over wifi through the bridge.

Of a couple of D-Link modems I have some allow multiple PPPoE connections and some don't.

I had the router dial up my default connection and sometimes also did a PPPoE dialup from my laptop over Wifi to another ISP.

Worked: D-Link DSL-2740U
Did not work: D-Link G804V

If so does anybody then know if DAP-1155 supports PPPOE in bridge mode? I can't see a reason why it shouldn't but then again my network expertise is limited. Have been looking around but still haven't come across anything helpful.

And then if it is not possible with the dlink is it possible to replace the dlink with an old Telkom Mega 105WR Adsl router to perform the same function as the current dlink bridge and still keep the above setup? If indeed it is can anybody help/guide me with the setup process of the Telkom Mega 105WR. Have tried it yesterday but I got overwhelmed by the setup on it.
