Help needed with windows 7 updates

Whenever I select check for updates on my windows 7 this error message pops up 'Windows update cannot currently check for updates, because updates on this computer are controlled by your system administrator? I really need to install important software updates please help guys. Much appreciated

If it really does belong to you, log in as admin.
