Guys, I need your valuble advice

To cut the story short, the complex that I live in has a few hundren units. Telkom has not bothered to install a single line in 6 years.

There is a shopping centre on the border of the complex that has Telkom lines, lets say that a certain shop owner is keen on what I want to do. HOA is keen as well to put the monthly subscription on the levies.

I want to install for example 2x 4MB ADSL lines with uncapped and construct a mast. This will serve wireless to the complex, it needs to be 802.11g so that users will not need any specific hardware. I will need some sort of user account management software/hardware to give users access and manage usage. I need the wireless to reach 500 meters or so.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

802.11g is standard
routecentry or a linux box with software on it (ipcop)
maybe an extra repeater or antenna of some sort... Had a school who did this works well for them and they bouncing of an engen garage !
