I have emailed you the relevant alternate details. It seems that Telkom has not released your session.
 
hi the new account got the same problem too...

i am using uncapped account...

i hope you can solve it for me..
 
I have been struggling this morning to log into my local only account. It says that my username/password is not valid on the domain. I can still log onto the IS usage website to see my statistics, so I dont know what could be the problem ?:confused: :confused:

PS: I am not an uncapped user..and I have emailed the helpdesk about 2 mins ago with regards to this.
 
I'm having the same problem this morning...

It says my "username and/or password is incorrect" ?????!?!?!?!?!

Edit: I see people are complaining about new accounts....Mine is one that's been running for the past 3 months.
 
Chavez, my account is also about 2 months old. Glad to hear that I am not the only one having problems....I just hope it gets sorted soon. I wanna download !!! :D
 
I can't connect to my local-only account either - something is broken.
 
"We are currently experiencing serious degradation of the IS backbone between Cape Town and Rose Bank. Slow responses will be experienced. 1 of 2 ATM links have failed. Both IS and Telkom engineers are investigating."

Just spoke to my IS business manager. Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing we can do until they fix that link. I will update you as soon as I know more.
 
Thanks for the update. Also cant authenticate with my OpenWeb account (using my SAIX fallback now). Hope they sort it soon :)
 
Thanx for the update Equinox. I just tried to connect and my local only account connected successfully :)

I can connect to my account, and downloaded from the news server, but my connection times out... not a problem, I will remain patient and hopefully things will get sorted out pretty soon :)
 
We are hoping that the problems are now fixed.

No problem Mr Beep. Everything seems to be back to normal here on my side. Thanks for attending to the problem so quickly, excellent service and feedback once again.:)
 
mine still seems to be down...keep on getting the error "no response from server" when i try to login to openrouter on my local only account
 
Same here, on my uncapped, some sites load without a problem, others do not load at all, and I dare not disconnect else I will not be able to connect again, cannot even connect to my email, just get a time out
