help plz

Heya guys,
Was wondering if ne1 knows a way to get 3 ide devices (2 x hdd and 1 x dvd) working on 1 ide port, or if i can sumhow get a cable that plugs into sata and converts to ide?

you cannot 3 devices on one ide port as far as i know

best bet is to get a pci ide device

If you need more space for more IDE devices, get a PCI IDE addon card.

I bought one 'way back when' for like R150 and it allowed me to have 4 more deviced (via 2 connections)

I used to have a Sony DVD writer, ASUS CD writer + WD 160G and Hitachi 60G, after replace my motherboard I have to put away the CD writer and 60G, as you mentioned there's not enought onboard IDE socket.....
