cant see anything on that screenshot. I would use the wan port though and make sure your router dhcp setting is on. When you share connection can you select share with local area network?

Yes I can, will just double check to see if it is selected. Not sure if i can change any settings on the dongle but if so sould i change anything or keep it as is?

if the dongle connects to the internet on your pc i wouldnt change any settings

you could right click on your dial up connection you using and go to properties then click on the networking tab and in that menu you should see something called internet protocol version 4 (tcp/ipv4)

if you highlight that option and click on properties it should be set on obtain ip address automatically same with dns server.

you need to use the lan port to setup the router but when you done you need to use the wan to share internet. I would try with dhcp on first. so setup the router to use dhcp then quit then switch your pc off then plug ethernet cable into wan.

power on and share dial up connection with local area network, check to see if you can go on the internet on your pc. If you can try connect with ps3

I have never shotdown my pc after changing the settings on the router and switching from lan to wan, could this be seen as a problem?

So here are the screen shots of what my settings are and IPs. I followed the info and still my cell cant access the net while on the wifi.
Help me please
What phone do you have? Is the wifi configured for wireless g/n mixed mode?

Yes router is set for mixed mode. Wil edit post with better screen shots as soon as i get the time and when i am back home, which should be in 3 days time.

I have cropped the images so they should be readable.

Please also post a PIC of your PC configuration, so we can see if that is OK.

On brief observation I would say that your default gateway and DNS server address needs to be set to the IP address of your PC lan port. As far as I can see, they are different

The settings in my DHCP section?

As can be seen i finally got my IP to show 192.168.137.1, don't know how but at least that part is working.

I also have a TP link router at home, might be able to help.

Post a screen shot of the LAN tab of the router (what is the router's IP?)

EDIT:
OK wait I didn't read the entire thread.

Are you trying the share the 3G connection from the PC to the router?
(Modem plugged into PC? LAN cable connected from the Router to the PC?)
http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?categoryid=238&model=TL-WR842ND#over is not a 3G router, how did it work previously?

which connection do you use to connect to the internet with? I assume a dial up connection.

Settings :

Internet --- 3G router --- Router --- LAN

On the Router, change the LAN settings to DHCP. Keep the IP range as is (192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199).
On your PC side, set it up for DHCP.
Don't plug the new 3G router in yet.
Make sure you can get DHCP from the router and that you can ping and access the router's web interface.

Now :

Plug the 3G router into your PC. Check that you can connect to the Internet and surf etc.

Then :

Plug the 3G router into your router - and check on the router's web interface if it detects and connects to the router.

Aftermath :

If your router doesn't detect the 3G router at all, you'll probably need a firmware upgrade on your router.

If there's no firmware upgrades available, you can share the 3G router via your laptop - by following the following two steps (read through them first to get an idea of what you're going to do) :
