Help sharing 3G connection over network

Settings :

Internet --- 3G router --- Router --- LAN

On the Router, change the LAN settings to DHCP. Keep the IP range as is (192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199).
On your PC side, set it up for DHCP.
Don't plug the new 3G router in yet.
Make sure you can get DHCP from the router and that you can ping and access the router's web interface.

Now :

Plug the 3G router into your PC. Check that you can connect to the Internet and surf etc.

Then :

Plug the 3G router into your router - and check on the router's web interface if it detects and connects to the router.

Aftermath :

If your router doesn't detect the 3G router at all, you'll probably need a firmware upgrade on your router.

If there's no firmware upgrades available, you can share the 3G router via your laptop - by following the following two steps (read through them first to get an idea of what you're going to do) :

I think he is trying to share the internet connection not plug the 3g dongle directly into the router

Yeah looks like he wants to plug the 3G modem into the PC then share it to the PS3 and Phone (perhaps via the router/AP - not sure).
OP:
Does your PC and PS3 have a WIFI card?
If so, have you tried www.connectify.me ?

I don't think he has a wi fi card. What I don't understand is he's sharing he's lan2 connection but isn't it a usb modem shouldn't it be the dial up connection that he shares ?

My brain hurts. :wtf:

When i plug the dongle in it auto create the lan2.

Yes I can, but shouldn't it be on static?

Give it a try, mine is set to dynamic and it works.
I plug my dongle into pc and use mdma which makes a dial up connection, I share that with my lan that is plugged into my routers wan port.

I have a dlink router though so might not work but give it a try.

I'm not 100% sure, but I have a sneaky feeling the the K4303 has a Vodafone butchered HiLink interface and as far as I am aware this is all but impossible to network even peer to peer! :(

I dont have this section in my network optionsUntitled.png

Does anyone know why?
And what is this about not sharing HiLink:cry:

If you have a HiLink  device, you might be able to simply bridge the two networks and configure your other PCs to use the HiLink device's IP address as their gateway and not use ICS at all.

But does my lan cable have to be in the LAN port or WAN port on the router for this? And what IP do i assign to the other devices like my laptop, PS3 and S3?
