Maybe just take out this part? Most of the time, just by talking about body odour, offensive is kind of implied because we hardly talk about BO is someone is smelling good. It's also less emotive and more subtle.
Hey guys
I have a friend that smells really bad but don't know if I should tell him because he will most likely be offended. He never used to smell this bad but recently he smells disgusting, it's like this smelly cloud hangs over him. One day he stayed over at my house and I had to literally wash everything he touched, now I make up lies why he can't come visit because I'm scared it won't come out next time.
So what you guys think is the best thing to do? Don't want to lose him as friend but I can't live with it any longer.
Not necessarily. Not everyone has a thick skin and is able to think rationally when put on the spot. There is a chance that he might see it as an insult or a personal attack due to him not being able to smell himself.I think this is the best idea. No need to humiliate the guy with hallmarks cards and getting others involved.
The manager came up to me and asked to go chat to him.
There was a guy at my previous workplace that smelled bad, as in no showers and no fresh clothes. The manager came up to me and asked to go chat to him.I just bought a sixpack of ego roll on and left it on his desk when he left.He was fuming the next day....but still stank.
How is it possible for someone to stink so much that their fingers can instantly impose smelliness on objects just by touching them? The only other thing I can imagine having the same effect is actual s**t.
I would also be fuming if you gave me thatjust bought a sixpack of ego roll on and left it on his desk when he left.He was fuming the next day....but still stank.
